This will be part of the cultural events series at Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville. I'll be joined by North Carolinians Ira Bernstein and Riley Baugus (who perform as Appalachian Roots); Allison Williams from Knoxville, who'll be bringing the terrific Nashville mandolin player, David Long; the very fine Cajun fiddler and singer, David Greely, from Breaux Bridge, Louisiana; and multi-instrumentalists Jordan Wankoff, from Chicago, and Jerry Hagins, from Austin. There will be showcase-length sets, and I'll be emcee throughout the night and will be featured in the show's final set. It will be a blast.
